Supplements

For the record, supplements are, well, SUPPLEMENTS, not REPLACEMENTS for micronutrients and minerals found in food.

That being said, I get asked a lot about good quality supplements.

First, I don’t endorse brands/products I don’t take/know/believe in myself.

Second, supplements are tricky – they are generally pretty expensive, and are really only needed if there is an issue or a deficiency. ALWAYS consult your medical practitioner before using any sort of supplement.

ATP Science is a relatively new brand in the United States (originally out of Australia), and I have been following their podcast (ATP Science Podcast) for some time before their products became available here.

I love that they use whole food ingredients in their supplements, all of which are backed by numerous scientific studies, which they list on their website. I also love that they explain the scientific purpose of each ingredient on their product pages.

I do use a number of these supplements daily to help certain conditions I have, and I have found the ones that I use to be helpful and effective – I can certainly tell the difference.

I have highlighted a number of products below for you to check out (click on the specific link to learn more about each of these products):
